iPS細胞から、がんを攻撃する「NKT細胞」を作って、患者に投与する「がん免疫療法」の研究がすすんでいる。

 

こう考えると、iPS細胞を作り出した山中先生の貢献はとても大きい。

 

iPS細胞の活用には今後も注目していきたいです。
